I'm coming in from Easton, PA. Well actually, I'm leaving from work in Plainsboro New Jersey but I am from Easton, PA. It is going to be a two hour ride on a friday afternoon, Yeah!
Oh, forgot to say keep an eye out for this pirate ship.
Altoona's pretty far for just a day trip. 170+ miles and about 2 1/2 hours.
Mind you, I've done that going to Historicon, but I had a driving buddy.
Chris, hope to see O.S. at TravCon next year. We'll probably have an earlier cut-off date for vendors, though, since we're currently wasting floor space on empty vendor slots.
Actually Glenn I thought he was the friend coming with you since he's from Birmingham too! Looks like there will be a strong Birmingham presence at the con
I send out a Paypal invoice after I receive the registration.
Not a problem about missing it...I tried not to inundate you all with info on the first page but it was a bit difficult when there's important stuff to send...
(And Turbo, I DID receive your registeration ...thanks for coming from Birmingham )
I filled out the pre-registration form on line and submitted it. I am not sure that I did it correctly however, as there was no link to pay the fee or anything like that. Do you pay on arrival, even if you pre-registered, or did I mess something up?
There's two games on Sunday to choose from...and you can always register when you get there for just Sunday...sucks about the job...but we've all been there...and hopefully next year you'll be able to come out for the whole weekend
I'm glad I didn't. My company just announced mandatory overtime for pretty much every Saturday until Christmas. Looks like I'll only be able to go on Sunday, and I'll prolly be too pooped to party. *grumble* stupid Borders *grumble*
I'm about an hour away, in Mechanicsburg, PA. But I think I'll prolly drive there from Carlisle after work on Friday (I get off at midnight) and get a room to avoid traffic. I'm not much of a driver and traffic makes me homicidally nervous.
Look out for the blue Rav 4 festooned with Cthulhu bumper stickers. It's a public menace.
