He's always happy to get new refs into the con and loves new scenario ideas too...

I'm posting because I'd like to attend TravellerCon this fall and I wanted to know something about hosting games. I am a newbie to this event (but I have been attending gaming cons for a long time) so I would like to know what might be "in" or "out."
I am a fan of Azhanti High Lightening and Striker and have an interesting collection of toys and tidbits for playing these games. I mean 15mm figs, vehicles, buildings and terrain. I would love to host some AHL scenarios that have come out of our local Classic Traveller campaign and that would have broad appeal to gamers.
As a for example, these are some candidate scenarios: Escaping civil unrest above ground through an unmapped underground cave system (AHL) Startown encounters in a 3D Startown (AHL) Jungle trek (in modified outdoor AHL) and others
So my question is: am I hopelessly passe? Are there likely to be attendees interested in such things? Am I barking up the right tree?
Brutal honesty is welcome and helpful before I make any logistics plans.
