Hey Everyone, Getting back here kinda late. I guess I am to late to get in the a vender slot. That is ok, there is always next year. I have read further down that you need to see some of my artwork to be sure it would sell. Well, if you own the new edition of Traveller, you have seen some of my artwork. Also, High Guard will be hitting the stores soon and you will be able to see some more of my work. "Traders and Gun Boats" after that and few more books after that. I'll try to make the convention for at least one day and I will bring some images with me so they can be inspected then.
Happy Times to everyone, Kharum

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. Other obligations trump. However if you want any http://www.15mm.co.uk/ let me know i can probably send it in -w- Mark K.
and/or I've set up a "store" at War Games Market http://www.games2trains.com/shop.php?userid=223
They are trying to do a good thing there.
If any of you are going to Fall In, I'm running a Star Grunt 2 game -w- a Traveller jargon title. --> Trouble on C5833187
Maybe your screen setup is different - there's a large banner with the TRAVELLERcon logo and the dates underneath which frames this page (all pages, actually).
Sorry, this page doesn't seem to be configuring properly.
um, what banner? I just looked at the top (and bottoms if the page is in reverse as they seem to always be) of a few different pages, even the main page and i see the date for the show nowhere.
Oct? not sure i can make it or not, will have to see.
oh and that bar with on top here with, Main Page, All Users, Search and so forth are coming up as nothing but a white line in a dark red box.
I think your goods will sell - certainly I would buy HoF. Please drop me an email at kmfrye(at)travellercon-usa.com and I'll forward your particulars to our vendor coordinator.
We're gonna try to get as many vendors as we can without violating fire codes and personal sensibilities. :) Vendors are the life's blood of a good convention.
Hello, New here, havn't played Traveller since '83, back then it was our primary game. I wanted to come and sell some http://www.alternative-armies.com/ and http://www.15mm.co.uk/ AND play some games. As a one person operation is that possible? I'm assuming from the previous posts that it is. Your attendance is around 80ish? If all 6 of your vendor tables are taken by the time I'm able to commit would I still be allowed to sell, but just not have a table?
A few years ago I worked at a company called Khyber Technologies, that is where I picked it up.
Vendors will do best selling goods that have to do with Traveller or Sci-Fi gaming. Carl S of StarMats will be bringing miniatures and miniature related stuff. Ad Astra makes the Traveller-approved miniatures.
I've known Carl since about '82, and we are in the same gaming club in the Cleveland area. Actually, he is the current president of the club.
Last year, Marc G. brought his Traveller rpg extras and did pretty well selling out of a suitcase (so to speak).
Again, we're still a small convention, and I think we presently best serve a gaming-oriented vendor who also wants to play a bit.
We're also in the 30-40-ish demograph where copies of a boardgame like "Awful Green Things..." would fly off the table, or so I think...
Does this help?
Best regards, Keith
I was at GZG last month and talked with some of the attendees about Travellercon, so I know that you are in a growth mode.
I was thinking of getting into terrain, basic stuff for now, hills and such. Possibly alien landscapes.

We have set aside space for six 3'x6' tables, which we will provide. Vendors are welcome to bring an additional table of similar dimensions to give themselves extra elbow room.
Please bear in mind that Travellercon is still rather small, so we're not charging a vendor fee - basic weekend membership covers vending.
Thus far we have Star Mats from Ohio (Carl S.) onboard, and Ken Burnside/Ad Astra has an option from last year he can exercise (Ken supported us from square 1 and we stand by our friends).
I need to review Kharum's artwork (meaning I need someone who knows something about Sci-Fi art to tell me we wouldn't be wasting Kharum's time if we gave him a table) before confirming him.
Odyssey Slipways was invited by me because he makes kewl space miniatures and he's local-ish. I think his stuff will sell. (I was a vendor once, so I do try to keep vendor interests in mind.)
This means four of our slots are pending or spoken for. The nice thing about the hotel is, as Travellercon grows, we have space we can grow into. As the convention grows, so too will our space for vendors.
I hope this helps - direct questions can be sent to me at kmfrye(at)travellercon-usa(dot)com

6 vendors? only 6? would that also mean just 6 tables? and how big are these tables?
If i can make it (still not sure how yet), I'd be bringing 1:10,000 scale Star Wars capitol ships, 1:2500 Star Trek ships, and possible a few other lines, one of them being my new (yet to be released) 1:50,000 scale star wars line. this line was originaly inteneded to be just larger ships, like SSD's and such, but have started a few of the regular ships.
We have a pretty easy vendor policy. Your membership buys you vendor space (at least one table). We have space for six vendors maximum this year - you would be #4 thus far.
Is this Bryan G.? If so, I have your email and will be getting back to you directly.
Hello all, New to this board and I have a few questions. I am an artist that owns a small business doing illustrations mostly for Traveller publishing companies. I wanted to know specifics about selling images at Travellercon 2008. First, would there be a market for poster size images? How about smaller size images?
